Message from Arthur David

Dear friends, what is taking place at FMCA is only by the grace of God. Anora and I started this school in 1996 and would like to take credit for some of what is taking place at FMCA, but we can't. The credit goes to God first, the late Abraham Thompson, who had the dream for a decent Chrsitian school on the Oldroad, Sinkor, the hard working employees, who have sacrificed to build the children over the years, the Christian Relief Fund in Amarillo, TX. who sponsors many students and has been since 1997, Bob and Sandy Brackett, who have funded the buildings and developments since 2008, Bill Ford and Jeanette Ford and Don and Pat Madden, who agreed for their names to be used on the school, and many others who have made tremendous sacrifices for FMCA to continue to exist in Liberia. The first Principal, Alassis Goldore, and employees also deserve mention due to their efforts in opening and operating the school in 1996, under very difficult circumstances.
Our focus at FMCA is develop children that will know God, believe in His son Jesus Christ, and exhibit Christian morals in their lives. We also want to build a school that will produce students who will compete in any academic institution anywhere in the world.
To accomplish these, we have embarked on employing qualified, sympathetic, and morally and ethically upright individuals to make up our staff. We are also doing our best to build and provide facilities that would make the learning environment conducive.
We also have zero tolerance for academic corruption that is so prevalent in our society. We emphasize the importance for all students to be respectful and disciplined at all times.
We look forward to working with fellow Liberians and our overseas friends who have interest in education in Liberia. Thank you and God bless.
